"Hello my name is Terri and I am very happy to be a client of Laura's at CustomFitt. I have Multiple Sclerosis and I'm in a wheelchair most of my time. Due to this I have lost quite a bit of strength, core strength and balance as a result of my immobility. I came to Laura with the hope of gaining some of my strength back. I started June 9, 2016 and since starting the training I have achieved more improvement than I expected was possible. I know that this will not mean a lot to many of you, but I moved a bookshelf loaded with cook books three inches by myself. Now as I say it will not mean a lot to some of you but for me it was a great victory for me to move this bookshelf. I now feel more capable of doing things myself and less dependent on others.
Thanks to Laura my core strength has improved and I no longer have the back pain I have been experiencing. I highly recommend CustomFitt to anyone wanting to improve themselves, with or without a disability."
"...Laura Smith at CustomFitt Personal Training used her extensive knowledge about fitness and health to guide me through a transformation where I have lost fat and gained muscle while improving my strength, speed, core, and endurance. She keeps me on track to always go harder than I think I can, while maximizing each workout. She is always ready to answer any fitness questions I have and changes up each session to tailor it to my fitness goals. She has been very flexible to meet my scheduling needs and shows me how to use gym equipment in ways I never knew was possible. How convenient! Laura also provided sound nutritional guidance so I could change my eating habits, while never feeling starved, and to feed my muscles and get the nutrients my body needs. I love Laura’s motivational attitude and am excited to see how my body and health will continue to transform!"
"After reviewing X-rays, 3 different, highly regarded orthopedic surgeons said the muscles at the rotator cuff could not be surgically reattached. All 3 doctors independently recommended reverse shoulder replacement surgery. After replacement surgery and several months of physical therapy, the prognosis was that I would probably have a 75% to 80% range of motion. I asked the doctor (that just specializes in upper body – over 500 shoulder replacements – surgeries) if I could resume fitness training with my trainer, Laura Smith. He said that “I couldn’t do any more damage than was already done” and to go ahead. I did and I have more range of motion than if I had gone through the surgery! Meeting the goals and moving to the next level is very rewarding. At 73 years old, I believe that I am in the best shape I have been since my school days..."
"...Laura is the most qualified trainer I have ever worked with, hands down. I am 57 years young and in the best shape of my life. You can be in the best shape of your life too. Do yourself a favor, and work out smart. Trust your health to someone who knows what they are doing. Laura Smith is that person."
